Ridge Badminton Compete Over Spring Break

Over the Spring Break MRSS had 3 badminton players competing on the Fraser Valley Team in the BC Winter Games held in Vernon.  As a team they just missed medaling by earning 4^th place in team play.  Individually, Sahar Ahmadi got 12^th place in Girls Singles.  Gavin Navarro got 8^th place in Boys Singles and a Gold medal in the Skills Competition.  And Airi Cowie got 5^th place in Girls Singles and a Bronze in the Skills Competition.  The players showed tenacity, focus, and sportsmanship throughout the challenging tournament — well done & congratulations!
