Today is Pink Shirt Day with this year’s theme to BE KIND and THINK before posting on social media. What you post can cause harm to the person you’re posting about even if you mean it in jest. Texts and posts can have serious consequences now and in the future – they can even lead to criminal charges in some cases. A great rule of thumb is, if you wouldn’t want someone to say it about you, don’t say it about them – don’t post it. Just because you might think something, doesn’t mean you should say it or send it.
