Congratulations to Marquesis Haintz who is Maple Ridge Secondary’s newest Provincial Wrestling Champion. She led the Girls team to a 3rd place finish at the BC High School Championships held last weekend in Port Alberni. Gr. 9 phenomenon Ivy Threatful also contributed with a bronze medal performance and Ashley Roy placed 4th. On the Boys side, Capt. Lukas Kolobara placed 2nd, Ryan hicks 3rd and Jacob McClure 4th. The Boys team placed 10th in the 62 team tournament and combined, Maple Ridge Secondary placed 3rd overall winning the aggregate plaque. Well done champion Ridge Wrestlers.
