Today is the final day of Literacy week. The Fraser Valley Library is visiting iand set up in the cafeteria all day. They offer library cards, waive overdue fines, and do book giveaways! They also bring borrowable “Playground” items to demo such as ukeleles, virtual reality goggles/headphones, and Sphero Bolts.
In the cafeteria, students can also enter the “shelfie” contests, matching pictures of staff bookshelves to their names and enter the best book-to-movie adaptation by scanning the QR code outside the staff room door. Finally, there are photo contests to be won by using the QR codes posted around the building. There are prizes to be won!
