It was a hard-fought game for our Lacrosse team as they competed against Terry Fox yesterday. Despite a slower start, our players lit it up in the second half, to tie the game 6-6. Terry Fox eventually came back to win the game 9-6. We had some beautiful goals by Cam Downey, Carter Dowsley, Keegan Laity and the ever-fierce Cody Todd, who scored a hat trick. Our beasts in D also played a great defensive game! Ty Bikic, Brendan Marcher, Jaime Thomson, and Kingston Hebner – Kudos to these players. Special mention goes to our face-off machine, Keegan “The Face-off King” Laity who earned us multiple possessions, caused numerous turn-overs, and took several hacks and still came out on top. The MRSS Lacrosse Team would like to wish Jaime Thomson a very Happy Birthday today.
