Lacrosse Team Battle Brilliantly!

Congratulations to the MRSS lacrosse team on their win on Monday over Mission Academy. Nathan Bonner dominated the first half of the game in net, making some huge saves. Our team was up 4-0 until middle of the second quarter thanks to Keegan Laity who won the majority of face-offs. Our boys were super tough in defence, and we took several penalties which gave Mission the edge to come back, tying the game 4-3 by the end of the first half. At the beginning of the second half, it was anybody’s game. Colton Craiggs and Tristan Pritchard, and Cody Todd turned the tides of the game, scoring goals early on, giving us a good lead once more.  Our heavy D by Kingston Hebner, Parker M’Lot, Jamie Thomson and Ty Bikic helped us tremendously. Early 4th quarter, Colton Craiggs took a huge hit, only to respond with a goal.  Final score was 10-5 for MRSS.  Keep up the fantastic work!
