Congratulations to our Junior Badminton team on their stellar performance yesterday at the District Championships. We had several athletes qualify for the Fraser North Championships next month, including several outstanding Grade 8s:
In Boys Singles, Eugene Hao shocked the competition and qualified in 4th place. In Girls Singles we had Yuna Sugiyama win the Bronze medal and Christa Blangket took 4th place; both girls qualified for the Frasers. In Boys Doubles, Gavin Navaro and Eugene Hao took Silver. Yuna Sugiyama and Anna Kim won Silver in Girls Doubles. And in Mixed Doubles, a pair of upstart Grade 8s took the Silver medal. Congratulations to Christa Blangket and Mudit Saini on their awesome performance!!! Well done team!
