Yesterday, MRSS hosted the Junior Badminton District Championships. Players that qualified for the Fraser North Championships are: Kirsten Lui, Antonia Lui, Liam Grace and Shigetora Uchiyama. And players that won a bronze medal and qualified are: Chris LaGrange, Nishtha Arora, Gavin Narvarro & Kevin Choi. Gavin Navarro also won Silver in the boys singles event. Players of note are Gavin Navarro, Kevin Choi and Nishtha Arora who are in grade 8 and won medals against players in grade 10! Well done to the whole team and special thanks go to Abby Sun & Nethkini Liyanage for running the tournament.
