Today is the International Day for Persons with Disabilities. The theme is ‘Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future’. When there is representation at a leadership level the perspective is more inclusive and the needs for more people are met. In Maple Ridge an Accessibility and Inclusiveness Framework has been developed by the City of Maple Ridge.
