Fall teams are starting up with Volleyball and Field Hockey. All students interested in Field Hockey should come to the turf field at the Karina LeBlanc Field after school today. Sr. Boys Volleyball tryouts are today after school at 3pm in the Big Gym and Senior Girls Volleyball at 6pm. The cafeteria will open on Monday but in the meantime, we will continue with Pizza sales at lunch for $3 per slice while quantities last. The Library opens to take out books beginning on Monday. If you are a member of CIYA or part of the class, please meet at lunch in the library today for a general orientation. The Youth Firefighting Academy applications are out. This is an excellent opportunity for Grade 11 & 12 students if you plan on becoming a Firefighter as a career. You will learn the basic firefighting skills, safety training and the role that firefighters plan in the community. Applications can be picked up in the Career Centre starting Thursday, September 6th. The due date to have your application in is September 22nd to Ms. Trudeau or Ms. Domitruk in the Career Centre.
