Student Council is proud to host September kick off this Friday, September 25th with Grade Colours Day during tutorial. Students will be organized by grade on the bleachers following Block A. Grade Colours are as follows:
Grade 8 – Yellow Grade 9 – Green Grade 10 – Blue
Grade 11 – Red Grade 12 – Black and/or Purple
Staff – MRSS Inclusive Shirt to show support for all grades or wearing specific colours to show your favorite grade.
Student Aides – your first meeting will be tomorrow in the library during tutorial. Your first 2 assignments are due by end of day today. Library will be closed during tutorial for students who are not Student Aides.
Rainbow Connections will have their first meeting tomorrow, in room 2007 with Ms. Rumble and Ms. Sanchez.

Maple Ridge Secondary School proudly takes part in the annual Terry Fox Run. Students will be running this week during their PE blocks. We are hoping to raise money to support the Terry Fox Foundation. Donations can be made through the parent portal, or students can bring a cash donation to give to their PE teacher. Cash donations will be given to our school accountant who will send to the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you for your consideration to donate to such a worthwhile cause!
