Today we host the Grade 11 assembly during Flex block – we will be calling classes down. Grade 12s with last names beginning F-M, your first seminar for Connections 12 is in the Caf today at Flex. We start the learning adventure on Monday at 3:15 (an online adventure) and are quickly competing with students across Canada. All are welcome to join. At this time, the library is not open at lunch. Next week, Flex time in the library will be open to grades 11 & 12 only. Dodgeball sign up continues in the PE hallway for all grades. Athletic Leadership meets at lunch in the big gym. There are all kinds of teams and practices starting up including: Grade 9-12 Boys Volleyball meeting today at lunch in the big gym; Grade 8 Boys Volleyball practices in the big gym today, Wednesday and Friday; Sr. Girls Volleyball practice at 4:30 today, Wednesday and Friday; Junior Girls Volleyball practice today at 3pm in the small gym; and grade 8 & 9 Field Hockey practice on the turf after school. There is a Cross Country meeting at lunch on Friday in Portable 4 – runners of all abilities and grades are welcome. Grade 11 & 12 students in the Work Experience 12 course who want to use your summer job hours, you need to submit the original hard copies of the 5 forms emailed/scanned to Ms. Trudeau over the summer. Submit your forms to the Career Centre or to Ms. Trudeau’s mailtray by Thursday, September 16.
