Happening Today – March 6

If you forgot your donations for our Drive Thru Women’s Clothing and Essentials Drive, you can drop off donations all week in the bin by the library. Douglas College will be here at Flex in the library to meet with grade 12s who applied for September.  The presentation covers admissions, financial aid, registering for classes, student services and more. Ms. Sinow’s Block B PE 12 class leave at Flex for Extreme Air Park. Rainbow Connection meet at Flex in the Drama room. There is a Track & Field meeting at Flex today in Portable 4 for all interested students. The Crokinole tournament begins today with competition for single players. There are a couple spots left for today if you’d like to try it – join us in the library at lunch. Meeting today at lunch are the Circle of Indigenous Youth meet in the large conference room today, General Politics club in the small conference room, and Grad Committee in room 1117. Grade 11’s who haven’t done the course planning should see Mr. Page today. There is a meeting tomorrow at lunch in room 2006 for students interested in playing Golf – everyone interested should attend this meeting. Ball Hockey tryouts begin tomorrow and Thursday after school in the Lacrosse box – everyone welcome. Rugby practices are tomorrow and Wednesday after school – everyone welcome – no experience necessary. LINK Crew applications are due Friday to Mrs. Collyer or Mr. Toupin. AP classes … March 15 is the deadline for paying for exams.  Please bring a cheque addressed to Maple Ridge Secondary to the office.  March 15 is also the deadline to cancel or order. Please let your teacher or Mrs. Wall know if you have changed your mind about writing the exam.
