The MRSS Ultimate Team started their season this week and played in their first tournament hosted at Westview yesterday. The players came together as a team and worked hard in all three of their games resulting in two solid winning games against Westview, and a joint team of SRT & Garibaldi. Our loss was to Maple Ridge Christian school. Special shout out to the players who rearranged their schedules to be able to play, as well as to those that demonstrated courage by joining the team yesterday! If there are any other Ramblers out there who are thinking you might like to join the team, please see Ms. Langan on Friday in room 1110. Freeze Flex today – students remain in their 1st period class for Flex block. Grade 8 & 9 will be doing a Core Competency assignment and Grade 10s will be taking a short Learning Survey. LINK Crew has a special event for Grade 8s only…Blindfolded Musical Chairs at Flex in the small gym – lots of fun and prizes too! All students are welcome, next practice is Monday after school. Today is the final day to win a lunch and front of the line pass by answering a Women’s History Month question, “Why is it important to recognize Women’s History Month?” Top answer wins. Are you interested in discovering more about Crokinole? Come to the library tomorrow at lunch to check it out and potentially sign up for the tournament next week.
