We would like to encourage students and staff to wear black shirts in support of the Inaugural Black Shirt day in Vancouver tomorrow In British Columbia, thousands of students wear pink shirts in support of anti-bullying. Orange Shirt Day has also been introduced across Canadian schools, where students wear orange shirts in solidarity with Indigenous survivors of the residential school system, and Black Shirt Day recognitions of the struggle for civil rights fought by Black and racialized Canadians. Meeting at lunch today is Model United Nations in the library and after school Garden Works meet in room 2108 and Robotics in 1227.
