Black History Month

In February , we celebrate Black History. Please check out the displays near the library to inform yourself of Canada’s history, the civil rights movement and some basics of the Underground Railway efforts. If you answer the “Question of the Day”, you will be entered into a daily dray for lunch from the cafeteria with a “Front of the Line” pass too. There’s a new question every day with a daily prize for the entire month.

Today’s question is, “Who was the First Black Politician of Canada?” The answer is on one of the displays. Enter your answer in the library to be included in the daily draw.
