December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women established after the murder of 14 young women at Polytechnique Montreal 30 years ago. Ways to honour the victims of this tragedy is to wear a white ribbon on December 6th – students and staff will be making ribbons and offering us a choice to wear one. All library students who volunteered for BOOKFEST are asked to see Ms. Aitken this morning. It’s Toonie Tuesday for Toys – CIYA will be coming during Tutorial today to collect donations for Rambo’s Christmas Toy Drive. Fiction Addiction meet in the library at lunch. Thank you to Mr. Ruston and his “Breakies” for volunteering their time every Tuesday and Thursday morning to set up breakfast for us every week – may the force be with you.
