May is Dementia Awareness Month and the Ridge Meadows Senior Centre needs your help making posters for their awareness week. If you’re artistic or crafty and would enjoy making posters, see Ms. Hilliard at lunch in room 1105. Grade 8 soccer intramurals are moving outside for the remainder of the week. Teams are 6-8 players but if you don’t have enough for a team, join Ms. Sinow on the field and she’ll help you out. No sign-up required, just show up and have some fun in the sun. All school stores and businesses are closed today so if you’re looking for lunch or snacks at lunch, come down to the cafeteria. Meeting today at lunch is the Book Review Club. Rainbow Connection has been rescheduled to tomorrow at lunch in the drama room. SFU is offering an opportunity to work with children and youth, build leadership skills, meet new people, attend career workshops and have the ability to become camp instructors in the future.
