Our Grade 8 Girls Basketball team opened their season. The Girls defeated the tournament host, Stafford, 30-10 in their opening game of the season. Later Friday night they faced a tough Reiner team from Abottsford and won 23-19. In the championship game against Yorkson Creek the girls battled hard but lost in double overtime 28-26. Kylie Birnie and Tiana Bikic were named Players of the Game.
