One year ago the MRSS Wrestling team returned from the Langley Events Center with two Provincial Championship banners which now hang proudly in our gymnasium. Both the Girls team and the Boys and Girls Combined title were won with the Girls winning their 2nd consecutive title. Without a doubt we would have had a ‘threepeat’ if our world was not turned upside down by COVID. To their credit, over a dozen Ridge wrestlers continued to train from November until now with the faint hope of returning to the mats and retaining some normalcy in their lives. Sadly, we have to say goodbye to our graduating Seniors including Gabriella Di Girolomo, Ivy Threatful, Solei Brooks, Lexi Lewis, Adrian Truong and Ryan Beranek. Thank you for representing our school in such a fine fashion and good luck both on and off the mats!
