Yesterday in the first of a two-day Fraser North Badminton Championship, MRSS had 7 players competing. Joanna Chen made it to the consolation round and Nethkini Liyanage made it to the quarter finals before bowing out in Girls Singles. Due to an unfortunate draw, MRSS had its two mixed teams battle in the Consolation semi-finals. Daanish Vir and Daniela Zerbinos beat Karn Pitak and Abby Sun in a close 3-game match. Another MRSS vs MRSS was when Daanish beat Angus Perler in 3 game thriller. Daanish continued to win all his games and ultimately became the consolation champion. Congratulations to all players.
