The Ridge Wrestling team repeated their remarkable achievement of winning both the Girls and Boys and Girls combined (Aggregate) title last Friday at North Fraser Zone Championships. Once again we were led by Captain Madi Grof who had a lot of supporting characters including Ashton Senko and Zahara Adomi who also wrestled away Gold as did freshman wrestlers Agnia Kravoska and Danika Michelsen. Muriel Kott earned Silver with Bella Berner, Diana Kim and Mikayla Pratt earned Bronze medals. On the guys side, Dannil Posokhov was our Champion, with Callum Ross And Linden Sinow winning Silver and Bronze medals. Coach McCrae and Menic were very impressed with the efforts of Grade 9 wrestlers Jackson McKay and Kayden Pratt who won some VERY big matches for MRSS. Ridge wrestlers next take to the mats at the Pacific Colliseum in two weeks as they defend their 4th consecutive Provincial title.
