Question of the Day: “Why is celebrating Women’s History Month Important?”

Congratulations to Elizabeth for her answer on why Women’s History Month is important. “It’s important to celebrate Women’s History Month because we must learn about the past in order for society to move on, learn from our mistakes and make the world a better place for everyone. Celebration is also an important aspect of this as there must be  a way that we can celebrate all the achievements that women have gathered, even through oppression. These women were powerful, inspiring and courageous. We must never forget that.” Her answer has earned her a free lunch and front of the line pass for the cafeteria. It has also led to the thruth that when women are treated equally, we lead happier lives.
