Today we wrap up wellness week with focus Friday. We’ve given you a great toolkit full of practical and simple exercises and activities that you can easily embrace and put into practice. With spring break only hours away, you could have two weeks to practice and work towards a healthier you. Even if you only choose one, you’ll still reap the rewards. Our main hope is that by participating in this week, students have become more relaxed with the topic of mental health. Thank you for contributing to the destigmatization of mental health while encouraging wellness. During the break, please remember to continue provincial protocols, get lots of sleep, get out into the fresh air and actively take care of yourself.
A tremendous thank you to Ms. Trudeau and her team for putting together a great wellness week. It’s truly been a welcome gift for us just before the break. Thank you for all your hard work and to everyone who helped to make it a success!
Therapy dogs will be visiting grade 12 classes this morning between 9:15-10:45. Every dog will have their owner/handler with them s well as an MRSS chaperone escorting them to their designated classrooms.
