We would like to inform you of some important things you will need to know for this school start up.<\/p>\n
Insurance for Injuries for Students<\/strong><\/p>\n Schools Protection Program (SPP) do not provide accident coverage to an injured student. Parents are responsible for these expenses.\u00a0There are two student accident programs that provide families the opportunity to voluntarily purchase private accident insurance:\u00a0Insure My Kids<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Study Insured Student Accident<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0just in case if parents don\u2019t have good extended health insurance. These private accident insurance programs for students are inexpensive.<\/p>\n Notice of Construction Activities in the Area<\/strong><\/p>\n Construction is occurring on 123 Avenue between Laity Street and 216 Street per the map below. Please see the notice here Drake Excavating Notice to School District<\/a><\/strong> with the project information and details.<\/p>\n With the upcoming school year quickly approaching, we are recommending that for school pick-up and drop-off, and for cyclist and pedestrian travel, 121 Avenue and 124 Avenue are used as an alternative route to and from school.
