‘THE AIR WE SHARE’ – CONTEST<\/span><\/b>
\n <\/p>\n

Listen up and take a deep breath….Is the air clean enough for you? Here’s your chance to help keep the air clean and receive a $500 prize<\/span><\/b> while doing it! Starting immediately you can enter the BC Lung Association\u2019s \u201cTHE AIR WE SHARE\u201d contest<\/span><\/b>. You can work alone or with a friend and all you have to do is submit a potential air quality and health project for your school and\/or community. The submission form and further details can be found on the contest webpage:\u00a0http:\/\/www.bc.lung.ca\/airquality\/airweshare.html<\/a>.\u00a0Feel free to email us at:\u00a0airquality@bc.lung.ca<\/a>\u00a0with any questions. Don\u2019t delay as the contest ends on\u00a0<\/span><\/b>January 31st<\/span><\/b>. The winning proposal will be announced on Clean Air Day,\u00a0June 4th. Now, put on your thinking caps and help us keep our air clean…after all, when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.<\/p>\n

Grads \u2013 going to school next year?<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0 You need to go online to complete your PSI so that universities & colleges can see your marks.\u00a0 See the window at the main office to see if you have registered correctly.\u00a0 Only 29 grads have completed.\u00a0 Deadline is March 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Tickets to our life changing musical<\/span><\/b> \u201cAll I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten\u201d are on sale daily in the rotunda at noon.\u00a0 Students \u2013 evening shows are $8.00 & matinee tickets only $5.00.<\/b><\/p>\n

Student Transer Phase #1<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 occurs between January 30th<\/sup> and February 27th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Forms are in the school office.\u00a0 Decisions for any\/all transfers will be made and parents informed by March 7, 2014.\u00a0 The best chance for transfers will occur during Phase #1.<\/p>\n

Grade 12\u2019s<\/b> \u2013 if you are offered a scholarship from a post-secondary or receive one from a company\/organization, please talk to either Ms. Knuttila, in the main office OR Mrs. McGrath, in the Career Centre. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pitt Meadows Secondary School will be running their Hockey Academy Open House on Thursday January 30th at 7:45 PM in Room 1030. <\/b>This program is open for all students to attend and take part in, whether you are new to the sport or have played for years.
