Meet in room 2140.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CAREER CENTRE <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Loran Scholarship application deadline is\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>October 18th<\/strong>\u00a0for school-sponsored applications and October 25th for direct pool applications (without sponsorship). Each high school may\u00a0<strong>sponsor up to three students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The research community at <strong>BC Children&#8217;s Hospital<\/strong> is pleased to present\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/trk.cp20.com\/click\/j46js-bredgk-5pbpn6q1\/\">Mini Med School 2017<\/a>.\u00a0 Each year,\u00a0this popular series uses big ideas, big discoveries and big names to engage high school students in learning and discussion about health research topics<strong>.<\/strong> The course curriculum has been designed for students in grades 10-12.\u00a0To reserve a space contact <a href=\"mailto:reseduc@bcchr.ca\">reseduc@bcchr.ca<\/a>\u00a0on Monday, September 25. Registration opens at 3:00 pm, seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 11-12 students, are you interested in a career in Fire Fighting? Maple Ridge Fire Department offers a great program for students. For more info come talk to Mr. Wiens or Mrs. Sekhon in the career centre.<\/p>\n<p>Auditions for supporting roles for the upcoming production of <strong>&#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life&#8221;<\/strong> will begin next week. Go to the theatre callboard beside the video studio for info on how to audition and to sign up for an audition time<strong>.
