Mirae went along to document and help with\u00a0the Claqoquot Cleanup and she has offered to share a few photos.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;color: black\">\u00a0Below is a link to her website as well as some photos of all the garbage collected. Mirae&#8217;s\u00a0work is quite impressive! \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;color: black\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/miraecampbell.com\/about\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif\">http:\/\/miraecampbell.com\/about<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;color: black\">\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_6\"><a href=\"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/thss\/thss\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/whales.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3865 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/thss\/thss\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/whales-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_6\">Without these efforts whales\u00a0perish in\u00a0lost fishing gear, birds choke\u00a0on plastics mistaken for food\u00a0and the integrity of the\u00a0ecosystem as a whole declines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_6\">The remote coastal\u00a0regions of Clayoquot Sound have\u00a0accumulated critical levels of debris.
