If interested,\u00a0please drop in.<\/p>\n<p><b>Monday, May 8 <\/b>&#8211; there will be an important ICBC\u00a0assembly for grade 11 &amp; 12 students during Y block in\u00a0the gym. Immediately following the ICBC presentation, grads will vote on their valedictorian and staff speaker\u00a0for grad.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Earth Day Winner <\/b>for the Button Draw is Gabby Dujmovic TA #2. Your prize can be picked up at the\u00a0office. Thank you!<\/p>\n<p><b>Intramural Basketball<\/b><br \/>\nDue to scheduling issues, some of the intramural basketball dates have been edited.<br \/>\nDates are now&#8230;May 8, May 10, May 15, May 16 and May 17 (if needed). Sorry for any inconvenience.<br \/>\n<b>\u201cAs Time Goes By\u201d: <\/b>Things change. Thomas Haney has always been an awesome place. What makes it\u00a0awesome for you? Think about your life at THSS. What\u2019s important to you? A club you take part in? A sport\u00a0you play? Or is it something about the school itself unique? Staff members have received a short form to\u00a0complete. Fill it out and bring your artifact to Mrs. Holness in room 2110. Items should be no bigger than 6\u201d\u00a0long or square and 4\u201d deep. Talk in TA. Chat with your friends. Leave your mark for those who come\u00a0after\u2026.\u201das time goes by.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Attention Languages Students:<\/b><br \/>\nThe second to last multiculture seminar will take place on <b>Monday, May 8th <\/b>during Y block. Sign up in\u00a0room 2145 before it fills up!! The topic is &#8220;Kahoot-fest&#8221;!!!<br \/>\nPlease have a chat with your Languages teachers to find out about upcoming deadline dates for the\u00a0year. The first one is coming up on May 12 for learning guides 1-5. Merci! Gracias! Arigato!<\/p>\n<p><b>Are you tough enough?<\/b><br \/>\nReminder to get your donations in for Terry Fox. We have reached our first goal of 500 dollars Carriss will be\u00a0getting his eyebrow pierced next week in the rotunda. We our hoping each TA will be able to get 100 dollars. At<br \/>\n$1000 Clutchey and Hussey will wear a wig for a month at $1500 Jennings and Ford will camp on the roof for a\u00a0week. At $2000 Biggar will live in jello for a day, at $2500 Connolly will wear rollerblades for a week. At $3000 Frend<br \/>\nwill wax his chest and at $5000 Woloszczuk will get an THSS tattoo. This year we are trying to raise support\u00a0for this very important cause by creating consequences for the teachers and a a team building tough mudder<br \/>\nknown as tough thunder that will take place after the run. Don\u2019t forget to get your team of six signed up at lunch\u00a0for 20 dollars starting on Friday. All proceeds go to the the Terry Fox foundation.<\/p>\n<p><b>PE 9-12: <\/b>Outside Credit Forms are due on Friday, May 12. The money raised will be donated to cancer research on behalf of our high school. All grads must have purchased a dinner\/dance ticket in order to choose a spot at the table.
