We will ask all students to leave fourth\u00a0block at about 1:15\u00a0to line the front driveway for the riders. There will be a 15 minute presentation for our donation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>A New Addition!<\/u><\/strong> There is a new addition in the science lab. Students are invited to come and check it out!<\/p>\n<p><u><\/u><strong><u>Basketball:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gr. 8 boys\u2019 basketball open gym tryouts Tuesday and Wednesday mornings 7:00 am \u2013 8:15 am and Fridays after school from 3:00 \u2013 4:00 pm starting September 23<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>THSS Recycling Club<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year the Recycling club will set up a sorting station at the great hall Kiosk on Mondays during long TA for you to sort blue box contents. You can obtain a fresh, clean blue box at this time.<\/p>\n<p>You will find cardboard, paper and refundable drink container bins at various locations throughout the building.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge Meadows Recycling picks up Tuesdays and Fridays.\u00a0 Bottle collection and sorting is done on Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you new to THSS this year or perhaps you didn&#8217;t get a chance to audition last year? We will be holding auditions for remaining roles for the first Sightlines Theatre Production of &#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life&#8221; starting Wed. Sept. 14. All students in all grades are welcome to audition. Go to the theatre callboard at the foot of the ramp leading up to the gym and all the information you need is waiting for you. It&#8217;s not too late to be a part of this fantastic winter classic!
