Meet on the field by 3pm. There will be two teams this year (gr 8\/9 and gr 10-12)<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Assigned Time\/Applications for Learning<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All students in\u00a0grades 9-11\u00a0who have &#8220;assigned time&#8221; or &#8220;applications for learning&#8221; with Mr. Clutchey are required to meet with him\u00a0today during Y block in room 1110\u00a0(in the Eng GH behind the totem pole).<\/p>\n<p>-Grade 12 students\u00a0who have &#8220;assigned time&#8221; or &#8220;applications for learning&#8221; with\u00a0Mr. Clutchey\u00a0are required to meet with\u00a0him the following Monday during Y block.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ECO-ACTION GROUP<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong> \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First meeting Monday @ lunch. Any STUDENTS\u00a0interested in<\/p>\n<p>earning volunteer hours,\u00a0a\u00a0letter of recognition for their resume,<\/p>\n<p>or helping promote sustainability @ THSS are WELCOME.<\/p>\n<p>We meet every Monday @ lunch in <u>room 2140.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Terry Fox Run<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Terry Fox Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 18<sup>th<\/sup> and they are looking for help. Contact person is Val Huber. Students may contact her directly at 604-463-1208 or <a href=\"mailto:valhuber@shaw.ca\">valhuber@shaw.ca<\/a> Students will get a letter of reference and volunteer hours can be used towards their GTP and work experience if appropriate. Students volunteered for many years are able to use these letters for scholarships and bursaries as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>AUDITIONS! AUDITIONS!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you new to THSS this year or perhaps you didn&#8217;t get a chance to audition last year? We will be holding auditions for \u00a0remaining roles for the first Sightlines Theatre Production of\u00a0<strong>&#8220;It&#8217;s a Wonderful Life&#8221; starting Wed. Sept. 14.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>All students in All grades are welcome to audition.<\/strong>\u00a0Go to the theatre callboard at the foot of the ramp leading up to the gym and all the information you need is waiting for you. It&#8217;s not too late to be a part of this fantastic winter classic! We are also auditioning for roles for three elementary girls- so if you have a younger sibling or know of a grade 4-7 students who would like to audition- let Mrs. Evans know ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PE Student Aides<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any PE Student Aides that have not attended a seminar already will have to attend one right after the Grade 12 assembly today.\u00a0 The meeting will start at 10:30 am in the main gym.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Fire Academy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications are in the Career Centre and due this week.
