HANEY HAPPENINGS: Friday, May 6<\/strong><\/p>\n FRIDAY: Chicken Tenders<\/strong><\/p>\n Soup: Broccoli Cheddar<\/strong><\/p>\n Students, as we enter the final 8\u00a0weeks of school, please be focused on completing all of your courses.\u00a0<\/strong>As such, a few reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n Students in grades 8-10<\/u><\/strong> should only be working in work areas supervised by teachers. So, do not go to the rotunda or outside to work.<\/strong><\/p>\n Students in grades 11-12<\/u><\/strong> can work in the rotunda with a stamped planner. Students in grades 11 and 12 can work outside at tables if you have a teacher or administrator providing direct supervision.<\/strong><\/p>\n Finally, as the set is now being built for our next production, if the rotunda is being used for a drama class, the rotunda is closed to all students.<\/strong><\/p>\n Students are still able to sign up the following courses for next year:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Students looking for a summer job or for ways to get involved in community volunteering, will have a chance to connect with employers, youth programs, workshops and much more at the <\/strong>Youth Open House<\/strong> this Friday, May 6<\/strong>. It is being held at the Maple Ridge Public Library, from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Parents, youth and emerging adults are all welcome to attend.<\/strong><\/p>\n PE:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>PE Outside Credit forms need to be handed in to your PE teacher by Wednesday, May 11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Reminder to Mr. Carriss\u2019s Leadership students to hand in their Leadership Conference field trip forms and payments ASAP!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n MAY 13 DEADLINE FOR THIS AMAZING RCMP EXPERIENCE!\u00a0The RCMP is holding a Youth Engagement Week initiative from October 17 \u2013 21, 2016. They will send 6 BC students who are curious about policing to Depot in Regina for one week to see what training looks like and to get an overview of the organization.
