The Annual\u00a0THSS Poetry Slam will take place the afternoon of Friday, April 29.\u00a0We are also looking forward to hosting the district poetry slam in May<\/p>\n

THSS Book Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

Important meeting for all book club members today,\u00a0Thursday, April 7<\/u><\/strong> at lunch in the library. \u00a0Please attend.<\/p>\n

Grad rings are on display today at lunch in the rotunda.<\/p>\n

Please remember that your Grad Trans is due Friday, April 29th!<\/strong> \u00a0Don’t leave it until the last day.<\/p>\n

There will be a grad dinner\/dance meeting Tuesday, April 12th<\/u> at lunch in room 2146. We will be voting on the gift to the grads and putting together some of the decorations. All grads are welcome!<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondary Online Summer Learning 2016<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Offers online learning and full course credit and runs from May to July. <\/strong>Courses must be completed between May 4 and July 26. Note that students still need to enroll in 8 courses next year<\/p>\n

Secondary Summer Learning 2016<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Runs from July 5 \u2013 26 (8:00 am \u2013 1:30 pm) here at THSS.<\/p>\n

Online registration only between May 9 and May 20<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both of these options are free unless you are an international student.\u00a0Please pick up a form in the counseling centre for more information<\/em><\/p>\n

Grade 10 \u2013 12 students considering careers in physiotherapy, rec therapy, health care or supporting people with special needs \u2013 there is an opportunity to volunteer at a Therapeutic Summer Camp directly alongside therapists. Come to the Career Centre for an information sheet.<\/p>\n

Grade 12\u2019s \u2013 Applications for the Dogwood Award presentations are now available in the Career Centre. Deadline to apply is April 8. Students who are eligible to present will be notified via their TA by April 15. Presentations days will be April 20\/21.<\/p>\n

Home Show is still looking for volunteers.\u00a0Stop by the career centre for the paperwork.<\/p>\n
