All student absences must be excused by a parent or legal guardian or they will be recorded as \u201cunexcused.\u201d<br \/>\nAbsences reported to teachers may not always get excused. Be sure to report to the office. <strong>If your child is going to be late, please ensure that they sign in at the office upon their arrival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How do I report an absence?<br \/>\nThere are several ways an absence can be excused:<br \/>\n1. Call the school directly at (604) 463-2001. Office staff are available between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, or you may leave a message 24 hours\/7 days a week.<br \/>\n2. Send a signed note with your student to the office prior to, or upon return from, an absence.<br \/>\n3. Log into the parent portal and click the \u201cReport Absence\u201d tab. Select your child\u2019s name from the drop-down menu. Enter the date of his\/her absence, as well as any other relevant details.<br \/>\n4.
