Do you love horror? Do you love gaming? Have you ever wanted to be the first person to complete a game? If this sounds like you then come on down (or up) to the library to sign up to try Wick, Thomas Haney\u2019s first ever major release video game!
\nEven if you don\u2019t beat the game, prizes for challenges less daunting will be available. Wick will be available during 1st and 2nd block on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Badminton Intramurals
\nSign-up sheets are now posted. The tournament will take place the second week back in January.
\nThere will be three tournaments:
\n1) Senior – teachers and grade 11 & 12
\n2) Junior – grades 9 & 10
\n3) Grade 8 – grade 8 tournament will happen in the spring, once all PE 8 classes have completed their badminton units.
\nSign-up sheets will be taken down on Thursday, December 10.<\/p>\n

\nThis is your absolute last chance to sign up for our school ski trips to Cypress and Whistler Mountains this year. Our first trip is two weeks away!
\nWe also have one last spot available for our overnight trip to Big White January 22 \u2013 24. See Mr. Williams or Mrs. Fischer with all forms by end of day Thursday!<\/p>\n
THSS Clothing Drive

\nHelp raise funds for your community!
\nDonate your gently used clothing: shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, boots, towels, purses, hats, mitts, blankets, sheets pillows, scarves, sewing materials etc. The drop-off box is located by the Lost and Found area. Label it with your TA number and make it count!
\nThere will be prizes for the TA with the most contributions! Co-sponsored by the Eco-Action Group and Student Council<\/p>\n
THSS\u2019s Giving Tree
\nAt the front of the school by the top of the stairs there is a tree decorated with tags. Each tag lists an item. Take a tag and bring back the item. Each item is a donation to the Maple Ridge Christmas Hamper Society. Help a family in need have a wonderful Christmas. Place all donations in the boxes under the tree. Write your name and TA on the back of the tag and get a free webkin as a thank you for your donation.

\nCap & Gown $50 (mandatory fee if you are participating in the grad ceremony)
\nDinner Dance at Meadow Gardens $60 per ticket (pay for two tickets if bringing a guest)
\nDry Grad at Thomas Haney $30 per ticket (pay for two tickets if bringing a guest)
\nIf you are unable to pay them on the portal \u2013 you can bring payment (either cheque payable to THSS or cash) to Mrs. Shamro in the office.
