Attention: French and Spanish 11 and 12 students:
\nThere will be a field trip to Granville Island on Monday, December 7th to explore French and Spanish culture on the Island. If you are interested please see your teacher, Mrs. Preddy or Mrs. Van der Pauw for the field trips forms. All money and forms need to be in by Thursday Dec. 3rd.<\/p>\n
LOST & FOUND:
\nItems such as clothes, shoes and glasses from the lost and found bin are now displayed on a table outside of the office.
\nStudents or parents are encouraged to check for lost items. All items in the Lost and Found will be collected and donated on Thursday, December 16th<\/p>\n
UBC Visits THSS tonight from 6:30 – 7:30pm in the Rotunda. This is your chance to hear a presentation by a UBC representative and receive information directly from the source.<\/p>\n

THSS Clothing Drive
\nNovember 16 \u2013 December 16, 2015
\nHelp raise funds for your community!
\nDonate your gently used clothing: shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, boots, towels, purses, hats, mitts, blankets, sheets pillows, scarves, sewing materials etc. The drop-off box is located by the Lost and Found area. Label it with your TA number and make it count!
\nThere will be prizes for the TA with the most contributions!
\nCo-sponsored by the Eco-Action Group and Student Council<\/p>\n
Is that snow I see? Ready for the slopes? Have you heard about the THSS Ski and Board club? We have three exciting trips planned this year to Big White, Cypress and Whistler. Our Cypress trips are December 17, January 14, February 11 and March 3. We leave after school and return around 10:15 each night. Our Whistler trips are Saturday, January 16 and Saturday, February 27. We leave from the school at 5:50 am and return around 6:30 pm. Our Big White trip is an overnight trip leaving after school January 22 to and returning on the evening of January 24. If you\u2019re interested, please see Mr. Williams or Ms. Fischer to pick up permission forms. These trips are open to all ability levels.<\/p>\n

\nThe Cr\u00eapes food truck is returning! On Monday, December 14th from 9 am through lunch, Cr\u00eaperie la Boh\u00e8me will be taking your orders in French or Spanish. There is a price list and sign-up sheet in room 2145. This is a delicious way to get your multicultural seminar credit. Please ensure that you sign up and hand in your money to your French or Spanish teacher so that you do not miss out on this opportunity.<\/p>\n

\nDinner Dance at Meadow Gardens $60 per ticket (pay for two tickets if bringing a guest)

\nGrade 12 students interested in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) at post-secondary and who have academic excellence and outstanding community, business or entrepreneurial leadership – you are eligible to apply to be nominated for the Schulich Leaders $60,000 – $80,000 Scholarship.
