Congratulations to Madelyn Huston who won her flight running 3 miles in 19 minutes and 13 seconds\u00a0at the Sunfair Invitational Cross Country race this past\u00a0weekend\u00a0in Washington State!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cross country runners:<\/strong> please meet outside of the Suddaby room for a mandatory\u00a0meeting and practice today at 2:45pm. <\/strong>\u00a0Our first meet is this Thursday at Bear Creek!<\/p>\n

There is a Senior Boys\u2019 Soccer Game at SRT today<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you to all the lovely students who participated in the Great Canadian Shoreline clean up organized by the THSS eco action group\u00a0yesterday! <\/strong>We walked to Cottonwood Creek and cleaned up litter on the way there and at the creek itself. The creek was very littered but it was left clean and tidy. We collected about 15 garbage bags of litter!!\u00a0 Special thank you to Ms. D. and Ms. Godfrey for supervising as well.<\/p>\n

PSI night is tonight, October 6:<\/strong> all grade 11 and especially 12’s who are considering attending post-secondary school in BC should come to PSI night on Tuesday from 6-8 pm in the Rotunda.\u00a0 <\/strong>Post-secondary schools from all across the lower mainland will be here to answer your questions and meet with you to discuss their programs and what courses you should be taking to ensure you are eligible to attend their school.\u00a0 Bring your parents!<\/p>\n

Helping with senior girls\u2019 volleyball:<\/strong> If you are interested in score\u00a0keeping, down refereeing, or lining in the evenings for the senior girls volleyball games, please see Mrs. Clayton. \u00a0You get paid for your time and you will be trained.<\/p>\n

Interested in coming to Big White, Whistler and Cypress?\u200b See Mr. Williams or Ms. Fischer to get the necessary forms in order to participate. Reminder that the Big White forms need to be back by this Friday<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All Aboriginal students and parents<\/strong> are invited to the 7th Annual Aboriginal Career Fair tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7 from 6 \u2013 8 pm<\/strong> at Maple Ridge Secondary.\u00a0 Post-secondary institutions and organizations will be present to talk in classrooms and individually later in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n
