Today is Jersey Day: <\/strong>If you are wearing a sports jersey to school today, please<\/strong> donate $2.00<\/strong> towards the Maple Ridge\/Pitt Meadows KidSport chapter.\u00a0 All money collected should be brought to the office and it will go directly towards supporting local kids by helping eliminate the financial barriers to sport participation so that all kids can play!<\/p>\n

Did you know that Wednesday April 22nd is Earth Day??\u00a0 <\/strong>Let\u2019s celebrate Thomas Haney!!!<\/p>\n

Come and watch Avatar in the presentation room on Tuesday April 21 and Wednesday April 22 \u2013 bring a reusable water bottle or litterless lunch and get a candy! On Wednesday April 22: \u00a0Wear green!!!!<\/p>\n

Then visit the eco-action table in the rotunda at lunch \u2013 show them your reusable water bottle and litterless lunch and get a candy. Also fill in a footprint and enter a draw to win a prize!!!\u00a0 Be sure to also try out the Earth week menu all next week in the cafeteria!<\/p>\n

The Table Tennis Club<\/strong> will not<\/span><\/strong> be meeting this week.\u00a0 Play will resume next Wednesday, April 22 @ 3 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attention grade 10\/11 girls. Fire Camp!<\/strong> Camp Ignite is in its 5th year this year and is a 4 day camp held during the summer, Aug 6-9 this year. It is a four-day camp that educates and inspires young women to follow their dreams. The camp is open to girls in grades 11-12 (ages 16-18), and gives them an introduction to the world of firefighting.\u00a0See Mr. Wiens in the career centre this week for an application.\u00a0 Please see the website at: http:\/\/campignite.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Vancouver Career Fair: Visual Effects, Games and Animation<\/strong>. This event takes place on April 18th<\/strong> from 10:30 \u2013 4:00 pm<\/strong> at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
