Set in the 1920s, <em>Chicago<\/em> follows Roxie Hart, a wannabe vaudeville star who ends up in jail after murdering her lover. There, she meets Velma Kelly, a famous nightclub performer with a similar tale. Both women turn to the same smooth-talking lawyer, and their rivalry heats up as they compete for headlines and the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>With catchy tunes, sharp choreography, and a lot of attitude, <em>Chicago<\/em> is a show you won\u2019t want to miss!<\/p>\n<p>Evening performances of <em>Chicago: The Musical (Teen Edition)<\/em> will take place at 7 p.m. on May 8, 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17, 2025 (doors open 6:30 p.m.).<\/p>\n<p>Matinee shows are scheduled for May 7 at 9:30 a.m. (doors open 9 a.m.) and May 17 at 2 p.m. (doors open 1:30 p.m.)<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $15 plus a web fee and can be purchased <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vtixonline.com\/?series=Thomas+Haney+Secondary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Haney Secondary&#8217;s theatre doors are located on the west side of the building, across from the skate park (23000 116 Ave, Maple Ridge).<\/p>\n<p><em>Content warning: Chicago contains suggestive content and reference to violence that may not be appropriate for all audiences.
