NEW AND OLD THSS CLOTHING ON SALE!!!!\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n

NEW THSS CLOTHING:<\/b>\u00a0 There are two new THSS logos for clothing.\u00a0 Clothing will be on sale from November 18 \u2013 January 16.\u00a0 Samples to try on for sizing will be available at lunch outside of the Rotunda after Nov. 24. Pictures and order forms will be located on the board next to the Intramural board (outside the rotunda) starting November 18.\u00a0 There will be t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, crewnecks, and sweat pants available.\u00a0 All details and prices will be on the order forms.<\/p>\n

OLD THSS CLOTHING:<\/b><\/p>\n

All this week at lunch, outside the rotunda, there will a clothing sale with old THSS logos, team t-shirts, and cinch bags.\u00a0 Everything will be on sale, and priced to clear\u2026the only catch is that there are limited sizes. First come, first served.\u00a0 We cannot put anything on hold, so bring your money and check out the selection.\u00a0 Prices will vary between $10 \u2013 30.<\/p>\n

TEXTILES 10 STUDENTS: <\/b>the sewing room will be open TODAY,<\/b> Wednesday, November 19<\/b> from 3:00 – 4:30 to finish Learning Guides 1 through 3 for the first report card.<\/p>\n

The Happening Arts & Crafts Fair<\/b>:\u00a0 If you have signed up to help with the craft fair on Nov. 29 and 30 please come to an important meeting with Mrs. Ryan at lunch this FRIDAY<\/b> in room 2145.\u00a0 Information regarding schedules will also be given at this time.
\nIntro to Power Yoga: Monday, November 24 during Y Block. All students welcome<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

All fitness-minded students are welcome to come to power yoga! This class is a moderate level, but options will be given for different levels. \u00a0Please wear exercise clothing and bring water. Mats are provided but you can bring your own if you have one. If you are in PE 10 Online, your attendance will count for an hour credit. Email or see Ms. Szakos if you have any questions.<\/p>\n

The Key Club<\/b> is hosting a toy drive to collect Christmas presents for underprivileged children between the ages of 2 \u2013 12. If you have any unused toys, please bring them to the office before December 1<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Legion 88 Poppy Campaign 2014<\/b> would like to thank all the students and staff for their participation and generous support in this year\u2019s campaign.\u00a0 The combined total amount collected from all the schools in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows is $5,466.00<\/b>.\u00a0 The Poppy Funds are used for Veteran\u2019s Transitional Programs. They\u2019re also used towards much-needed items for veterans, such as walk-in bathtubs, wheelchairs, ramps, hearing aids, glasses, and walkers. Thank you for supporting the veterans.<\/p>\n

LANGUAGES STUDENTS:\u00a0 <\/b>The languages teachers are having a work blitz this week in room 2145 at lunch.\u00a0 (Monday – Thursday).\u00a0 Bring your French or Spanish and your lunches.\u00a0 Attendance is taken.<\/p>\n

SKIERS & BOARDERS:<\/b>\u00a0 Interested in shredding some powder at Whistler and Cypress?? See Mr. Williams or Ms. Fischer to find about more about our ski trips this year. Permission forms and money are due this Friday, November 21<\/b>. Don’t miss out!<\/p>\n

THE RIDGE MEADOWS VOLLEYBALL CLUB:<\/b> is trying to get a boys\u2019 volleyball team going for the 2015 season.\u00a0 If you have a son born between 2001 and 2003 in grades 6-8 who is interested in playing, please contact Sue Soolsma at rmvc@shaw.ca.\u00a0 Tryouts take place on Monday, Nov 24<\/b> at Webster\u2019s Corner Elementary School from 7:30-9:00pm, and we will run a few practices in December just to see if the boys like it.\u00a0 There will be no cost for the tryouts or these practices.<\/p>\n

THSS CLOTHING DRIVE:\u00a0 November 24 \u2013 December 15<\/b>: Please bring in any old bedding, towels, purses, shoes or clothing.\u00a0 Drop off is beside the Lost & Found bin located near the office.\u00a0 Clearly label all donation bags with student TA #.<\/p>\n

Grade 10 and 11 Students:\u00a0 Rotary Youth Exchange:\u00a0 <\/b>Interested in attending school in another country for one school year starting in September 2015? \u00a0\u00a0If so, you and your parents are welcome to attend an information meeting on Wednesday, November 26th<\/sup> at 7 pm here in the THSS library.\u00a0 <\/b>Only one student will be selected.
