On this day, students will be introduced to our unique model, have a chance to meet and interact with teachers, student senior mentors and fellow members of the class of 2027. Our shape of the day will be as follows:<\/p>\n<p>8:30am Students arrive at Thomas Haney and head to the rotunda to check in and collect their name tags.<\/p>\n<p>8:48-10:52am Students rotate amongst 4 classes.<\/p>\n<p>10:55-11:54am We will provide the students with a BBQ lunch.<\/p>\n<p>11:58-1:36pm Students will rotate amongst 3 classes.<\/p>\n<p>1:39-2:10pm Scavenger Hunt led by Leadership Students<\/p>\n<p>2:10-2:20pm Assembly and Dismissal<\/p>\n<p>In terms of what the students should bring with them, all they will need is a pencil or pen. If the student has applied to be in the Peak Pod, there will be a tryout during the afternoon of our grade 7 day so they will need to bring athletic apparel and footwear.<\/p>\n<p>We are so excited to welcome our incoming grade 8 students. Next week, parents will receive an email directly from Thomas Haney with additional details.
