THE RIDGE MEADOWS VOLLEYBALL CLUB:<\/b> is trying to get a boys\u2019 volleyball team going for the 2015 season.\u00a0 If you have a son born between 2001 and 2003 in grades 6-8 who is interested in playing,
\nplease contact Sue Soolsma at rmvc@shaw.ca.\u00a0 Tryouts take place on Monday, Nov 24<\/b> at Websters Corner Elementary School from 7:30-9:00pm, and we will run a few practices in December just to see if the boys like it.\u00a0 There will be no cost for the tryouts or these practices.<\/p>\n

CANDY WRAPPER BRIGADE: ALL THIS WEEK!<\/b><\/p>\n

Halloween is here and so are millions upon millions\u00a0of candy wrappers!\u00a0Scary Fact: candy wrappers are considered ‘garbage’ because\u00a0there is no demand for that type of plastic on the open market. Keep them out of the landfill.\u00a0 Feed the candy wrapper\u00a0boxes located\u00a0around\u00a0the school: rotunda, library, office and great halls<\/b>.<\/p>\n

HALLOWEEN FOR HUNGER IS HERE!!<\/b> Please bring in at least one nonperishable food item for those who need it in our community. Boxes are still set up in the rotunda, the 4 Great Halls and the office.<\/p>\n

GRAD FEES<\/b> are now available to be paid on the parent portal.<\/p>\n

Cap & Gown $50.00, Dinner \/ Dance $60.00 per ticket (you can purchase 2 if you are bringing a guest), Dry Grad $30.00 per ticket (you can purchase 2 if you are bringing a guest).<\/p>\n

Parents will be welcome to attend early at Meadow Gardens for photos, but the Dinner \/ Dance is for students and one guest only (not parents).

Each year, 40 exceptional students from across Canada are selected to take part in this program.
