Aspiring slam poets: If you are an Aboriginal student and are at all interested in Slam Poetry we have a tremendous opportunity for you.\u00a0 Thirty secondary students will be selected to participate in a Slam Poetry Workshop starting in early December. There will be 8\u00a0 two hour sessions taking place between December and April. The sessions will take place at MRSS in the Mt. Crescent Annex. The workshop leader is Zaccheus Jackson an award winning Slam Poet from Vancouver. An orientation day is planned for all potential participants on November 13th<\/sup>.\u00a0 If you are interested or have any other questions please contact\u00a0\u00a0 Corinna Miller in Room 2034.\u00a0 Sign up this week spaces are limited!<\/p>\n
