Come to the extra help sessions Monday October 23 and Tuesday October 24th at lunch in room 2145. Application deadline is October 31.<\/p>\n<p>Is that snow in the mountains? Is there a chill in the air? Are you ready to feel the rush of powder? Skiers and Boarders we are gearing up for this snow season. Come to a meeting <strong><u>Wednesday October 25th at lunch in room 2010<\/u><\/strong> to find out more about this year&#8217;s exciting trips to Whistler, Sun Peaks and more.<\/p>\n<p>Do you enjoy camping and exploring the outdoors? Are you interested in hiking and exploring the beauty of some of the National Parks of Southern Utah? Come see Ms. Fischer to get more information about this year&#8217;s trip to Zion and Bryce national parks as well as Capitol Reef and\u00a0Grand Staircase-Escalante.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian Medical Hall of Fame \u201cDiscovery Days\u201d in Health Sciences date is declared. If interested please come see Mrs. Sekhon in the career centre on Monday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Students are welcome to take a test October 26<sup>th<\/sup> before and during student conferences. The Test Centre will be open its regular hours from 8:45am to 2:35pm on that day.<\/p>\n<p>THSS Clothing and Grad Hoodies will be on sale this week. \u00a0Samples will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays outside the rotunda by the intramural board for the next month. \u00a0Sizes are a little different, so please try on before ordering.<\/p>\n<p>Order forms and pictures of what is available will be on the board next to the intramural board.<\/p>\n<p>All orders are due by Wednesday, October 25.<\/p>\n<p>Crazy Bread Tuesdays is at Thomas Haney! Pick up a 4 piece for $2.50. Where? &#8211; Outside the Thunder Cafe! When? Every Tuesday at lunch! \u00a0See you there!!!<\/p>\n<p>The schools FSO (Fruit Salad Organization) meets in Mr. Takasaki\u2019s room off of the English Great Hall, THURSDAY\u2019S at lunch.\u00a0 Hope to see you there!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTRAMURALS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Congratulation to Brock K, Vincent T, Brandon G, Cameron C, and Russell C, on winning the grade 9\/10 Intramural Dodgeball tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Remember the Intramural Dodgeball sign-up sheets will be taken down on Wednesday, Oct 25. \u00a0The tournament will happen in mid-November.<\/p>\n<p>Basketball referees<\/p>\n<p>Anyone wanting to referee grade 8 basketball games this year will need to attend a workshop here at THSS on October 20 from 9-12pm.\u00a0 Please see Mrs. Clayton if you are interested.<\/p>\n<p>Grade 9 boys Basketball: Friday, October 20th 1-2:30\u00a0pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Any students wanting to play basketball at lunch in the gym need to bring in their own ball.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cross Country<\/strong> practices will be on Tuesday\u2019s right after school.
