The Test Centre will be open its regular hours from 8:45am to 2:35pm on that day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Experience: <\/strong>All students see Mr. Wiens to make sure your paper work is up to date.<\/p>\n<p>Attention French 11 and 12 students: If you are interested in going to Quebec City and Montreal in February with students from GSS, please e-mail Mme Harmon (<a href=\"mailto:andria_harmon@sd42.ca\">andria_harmon@sd42.ca<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Interested in exploring the National Parks of Southern Utah &#8211; Bryce Canyon,\u00a0Escalante, Zion Park? \u00a0Come and get more information from Ms. Fischer and attend the parent meeting tonight, October 11th at 6:30 pm in room 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Mexican exchange students,\u00a0Student Council, and Leadership\u00a0are doing\u00a0a bake sale on October 11, 12, &amp; 13. All the money raised\u00a0will be\u00a0donated for earthquake relief in Mexico. Come purchase some baked goods or donate\u00a0money to help this worthy cause.<\/p>\n<p>THSS Clothing and Grad Hoodies will be on sale this week. \u00a0Samples will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays outside the rotunda by the intramural board for the next month. \u00a0Sizes are a little different, so please try on before ordering.<\/p>\n<p>Order forms and pictures of what is available will be on the board next to the intramural board.<\/p>\n<p>All orders are due by Wednesday, October 25.<\/p>\n<p>Photo retake forms are available in the office.\u00a0 You must have this form completed with payment to have retakes.\u00a0 Photo retake day is October 13.<\/p>\n<p>Crazy Bread Tuesdays is at Thomas Haney! Pick up a 4 piece for $2.50. Where? &#8211; Outside the Thunder Cafe! When? Every Tuesday at lunch! \u00a0See you there!!!<\/p>\n<p>The schools FSO (Fruit Salad Organization) meets in Mr. Takasaki\u2019s room off of the English Great Hall, THURSDAY\u2019S at lunch.\u00a0 Hope to see you there!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTRAMURAL INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1) Intramural Dodgeball for grades 9 &amp; 10.\u00a0 Check the schedule the tournament starts this week.<\/p>\n<p>2) Intramural Volleyball sign up has now been posted. \u00a0Sheets will be taken down on Oct 19.<\/p>\n<p>You will sign up with a partner or as a single, then the PE department will make the\u00a0teams. Please only sign up if you intend to show up. \u00a0The Volleyball tournament will start in mid-November, after the grade 8 Dodgeball tournament has been completed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GRADE 8 and 9<\/strong><strong> BOYS OPEN GYM BASKETBALL will be held on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7:00 am.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Any students wanting to play basketball at lunch in the gym need to bring in their own ball.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cross Country<\/strong> practices will be on Tuesday\u2019s right after school. Meet in room 2140.<\/p>\n<p>Calling all equestrians- if you love horses and you would like to join the Equestrian Academy students on a field trip out to the Mane Event in Chilliwack on Oct 20 (it&#8217;s a Professional day so you won&#8217;t miss any school) please see Mrs. Evans for a permission form.
