Putting on the Glitz – March
Putting on the Glitz is a grassroots initiative involving PLEA employees, representatives from Ridge Meadows Community Service Agencies, local business and other partners. We all work together to provide local high school graduates in need with ‘formal attire’ so that they can attend their graduation festivities with pride. Students are refereed or self refereed by the school counsellor.
Without such assistance many of these students could not afford to participate in celebrating this important milestone due to financial constraints.
We are always accepting monetary donations, as well as donations of gently used grad dresses, men’s suits and accessories to this program. For more information join our facebook event page or contact Michelle Cherak 604-476-2821
