Welcome Grade 8s!

Good afternoon TITANS; CLASS OF 2025!

Welcome to SRT!  We are very excited to meet you in person this coming September.  The start-up schedule is below; and we also wanted to share with you the updated schedule for Grade 8 students, which looks a little different than in previous years.  You are a part of a COHORT of approximately 75 students.  You will still be PODDED with a group of 22-25 students for your core academic classes (Science, Socials, English, Math).  You will be in a mix of your cohort for electives, PE and Languages.

Elective rotations have been assigned to include a variety of ADST/Fine Art classes; while it is not encompassing of ALL electives at SRT, it is a taste of what is to offer.  Please note, if a student isn’t able to take an elective in Grade 8, they will be able to take it in Grade 9.  There are no prerequisites for Grade 9/10 electives.

Due to the Cohort System; we are not able to move students out of their assigned PODS or Cohort.  Our PODS are carefully crafted using information from our elementary schools, with balancing of genders and learning needs, and other factors.
