As we head into the last part of the 2018/2019 school year, Grade 9s should be wrapping up their careers assignments.
THERE ARE 3 MORE SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS:
April 16th @Flex in the Library- Trades 101
May 1st or 2nd @Flex in room 1170 (Junior Shop, across from Metalwork)
Mrs. Allen will be holding help sessions in the Library during Flex in April and May to help with your work/MyBlueprint. Listen for announcements and check the app for details.
Assignments Checklist & Due Dates:
- Sign up or on to My Blueprint
- Take Our Kids to Work Day
- Take Our Kids to Work Reflection on MyBlueprint in your Careers 9 portfolio.
- Complete the following “Tasks” on MyBlueprint:
- Add 2 Goals
- Favourite 1 Opportunity
- Complete Interest Survey
- Favourite 1 Occupation
- Participate in 2 school presentations:
- Worksafe BC Presentation (3 offered in December/January)
- Trades Sessions (December 12th and April 16th)
- Skills Canada (May 1 & 2)
- Complete 2 reflections about the presentations in your Careers 9 Portfolio.
- *If you did not participate in Take Our Kids to Work Day, then you will need to attend 3 school presentations
