We have many fun events planned throughout the school year.&nbsp; Please mark your calendar for these important dates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Saturday, May 29 &#8211; Banquet\/Dry Grad @ Meadow Gardens \/ SRT&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tuesday, June 15 &#8211; Graduation Ceremony @ Chandos Pattison Auditorium, Surrey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DRY GRAD CHAIR<\/strong> &#8211; We are looking for a grade 12 parent to volunteer to chair our grad committee.&nbsp; This role coordinates dry grad, organizes parent volunteers\/committees, works within the budget provided and runs some small fundraisers that have worked well in the past.&nbsp; This role works in partnership with SRT staff member, Christine Watts who has run this event for the past 15 years.&nbsp; Many things have already been booked and set up.&nbsp; The role of the grad chair needs to be someone with great communication skills and have the time available in their schedule to run a large event.&nbsp; If you think you might be willing to take this on but have questions, please reach out to <a href=\"http:\">Christine_Watts@sd42.ca<\/a>.&nbsp; This is such a fun and memorable event for our grads and we appreciate all the parents who volunteer to help make this event successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first grad parent meeting will be held in October.&nbsp; Once we confirm a date, we will publish that on the parent portal as well as on our website (grad tab at the top of the homepage).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GRAD CLOTHING<\/strong> &#8211; We have <a href=\"https:\/\/srtgrad27.itemorder.com\/shop\/sale?preview_key=TicH6z8ifbJ5pznZ00hVYA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an online clothing store<\/a> open now for grad 2027 hoodies\/sweatpants.&nbsp; Orders can be made via the online store until <strong>Thursday, October 1<\/strong>.&nbsp; We are hoping to have clothing delivered by the end of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GRADE 12 PANCAKE BREAKFAST<\/strong> &#8211; On <strong>Tuesday, September 15 @ 9:45 am<\/strong> we will be having a grade 12 assembly with a pancake breakfast.&nbsp; All our grade 12 students are invited, including all trades kids even if they may not be graduating with SRT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GRAD CRUISE<\/strong> &#8211; There is a fee portal open now for the upcoming grad cruise booked for <strong>Monday, October 5 (evening)<\/strong>.&nbsp; This event is just for SRT grade 12 students (no guests).&nbsp; All the information is noted on the field trip form that was sent out earlier this week.&nbsp; <strong>Please be advised that if you note cash payment instead of portal, students must bring in the cash ASAP<\/strong>.&nbsp; They will not be recorded as attending the cruise unless payment has been received.&nbsp;
