There are only 2 and a half months left in the school year and it is an important time to connect with teaching staff.&nbsp; Here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All conferences are by appointment only.&nbsp; Last year, we included a few drop-in sessions but we had fewer parents and students than in previous years so we are returning to bookings only.&nbsp; Appointments are 5 minutes long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Conference Times:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Afternoon Session:<\/em>\u00a01:00 pm &#8211; 4:00 pm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Evening Session:<\/em>\u00a05:00 pm &#8211; 7:00 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Booking Appointments:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you\u2019d like to schedule an appointment, booking is now open on the parent portal. Appointment slots are available from 1:00 pm &#8211; 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm &#8211; 7:00 pm.\u00a0 You must book before next Monday evening, April 13th at 8:00 pm.\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t book by then, you will have to reach out to teachers via email to arrange a time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note for Parents of Grade 8 Students:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please\u00a0<strong>do not book appointments<\/strong>\u00a0for elective rotation classes, as students attend these classes for only a few weeks. These classes include Drama 8 (Mr. Driscoll), Art 8 (Mr. Pasqualotto), Leadership 8 (Ms. Cranna), Culinary 8 (Mr. Tillotson), Textiles 8 (Ms. Hindson), Digital Literacy 8 (Ms. Schafer), Wood 8 (Ms. Branden), Metal 8 (Mr. Faresin), Guitar 8 (Mr. Halfnights), Foods 8 (Ms. Rowell), Digital Media 8 (Mr. Clippingdale), and Outdoor Ed. 8 (Mr. Penacerrada).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instead, please prioritize booking appointments for your child\u2019s core, year-long courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please reach out if you have any questions.
